  The table below show the badges listed in the 1937 Coronation Review of the Fleet at Spithead by HM King George VI on the 20th May 1937, but are known to have been in use earlier in the 1930's.


Regulating


Alma Mater - HMS Excellent - Whale Island, Portsmouth.




  A Master-at-Arms badge on the left and a regulating badge on the right, worn by both Regulating Petty Officer's and Leading Patrolmen. They do not use stars as additions to their branch badge.


  In the 1977 Review programme, there was just one badge, namely that of a Regulating Petty Officer/Leading Patrolman.
